Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to PetBnB (“Platform”, “we”, “our”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal and pet-related information when you access our platform, website, or mobile applications.

By using the platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not access or use our services.

2. Information We Collect

3. How We Use Information

We utilize the collected information to execute bookings, verify identities, calculate platform payouts, prevent fraudulent checkouts, send daily update photo feeds, and resolve disputes. We strictly do not sell your personal data to advertising companies.

4. Information Sharing

To operate a two-sided marketplace, we share matching coordinates, pet logs, and contact details between Pet Owners and Sitter Hosts once a booking request is approved. In emergency situations, we may share information with veterinary partners or legal authorities.

5. Data Protection

We enforce bank-grade security protocols, including encrypted HTTPS connections, 256-bit SSL checkout encryptions, strictly managed access privileges, and automated transaction log monitors. While we protect data rigorously, no internet-facing system is 100% immune to vulnerabilities.

6. User Rights & Data Retention

All users may view, edit, or request complete removal of their personal files and pet history from our system. However, specific checkout invoices, payout reports, and safety logs are legally retained to satisfy regulatory obligations and fraud prevention protocols in Bangladesh.
